Info & Booking
Bookings are generally Saturday to Saturday during our high season in Girasole and Tulipano apartments and Wednesday to Wednesday in Papavero and Lavanda apartments. However, we always try to be as flexible as possible so please contact us if you have any specific dates.
We are very happy to accept shorter stays outside of our high season and discounts are available for guests staying 3 or more consecutive weeks.
1. Booking Procedure
Once you confirm you wish to book with us, we’ll email you a Costings Summary confirming payment details and deadlines. A 20% deposit payment will be required to confirm your booking unless your arrival date is within 8 weeks in which case the full amount will be due. We’ll keep your apartment on hold for 3 working days pending receipt of the deposit or full payment if applicable. Once we receive your deposit/or full payment if within 8 weeks, we’ll issue an invoice via email confirming payment and your holiday booking.
Holidays being booked more than 8 weeks before arrival date:
20% deposit within 3 working days following receipt of Costings Summary with the balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival date.
Holidays being booked 8 weeks or less before arrival date:
Total cost of holiday within 3 working days following receipt of Costings Summary.
2. Cancellation Policy
If you cancel your holiday the amount due is as follows:
Up to 57 days prior to arrival date – 100% of deposit
43-56 days – 100% of deposit plus 50% of balance payment
29-42 days – 100% of deposit plus 75% of balance payment
Arrival date – 28 days – 100% of deposit plus 100% of balance payment
COVID-19 (applicable to holidays in 2020)
In the event of a member of your booked group not being allowed to travel due to contracting the COVID-19 virus (a copy of a medical certificate will be required as confirmation), or travel restrictions being re-imposed making it impossible to travel to us, then we will transfer your holiday payment made, as a credit, to a new booking to be taken either later in 2020 or in 2021. This credit cannot be used in conjunction with any special offers or discounts and cannot be used where an insurance claim has been made to recover your holiday payment.
3. Security Deposit
A cash security deposit of either £200 or €200 is required on arrival in the event of any substantial damage or breakages. We’ll return this to you (subject to any damages) before you depart. You shouldn’t worry about losing your deposit due to a broken plate or glass and we hope that you’ll look after our apartments as you would your own home. In fact in 14 years of business we’re happy to say we’ve never had the necessity to withhold even part of a security deposit.
4. Arrival / Departure
Your apartment will be ready for you from 16.00 – 19.00 p.m. It’s not a problem if you’re going to be later, just let us know beforehand. On the date of departure, you’ll need to vacate your apartment by 10.00 a.m.
The total cost is fully inclusive apart from:
(1)the security deposit of £200 or €200 payable on arrival.
(2)central heating (usually only necessary from November – April). This will be charged for locally based solely on usage.
Our prices also include a mid-stay clean and linen change if you’re staying for 10 nights or more.
6. Method of Payment
By bank transfer to either a UK sterling bank account or an Italian euro account.
